In Wernigerode everything was booked out at the weekend and we were hungry. So followed the tip of our landlord and called here. Fortunately there was still a table and we haven't regretted it. After our Brockentour there was delicious beer and really good food. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We were very pleasantly surprised, as the restaurant is quite inconspicuous from the outside.

The only positive thing was the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. What we didn't like was that the entire toilet wobbled when we sat on it, the towel rail on the wall fell towards us because it was only temporarily patched and the pleated blind on the window didn't serve its purpose because it kept falling down because it was had no tension. Wouldn't book here again.

Located directly on the street, trucks thundered along from 4:00 a.m., no real darkening, beds were ok. Restaurant only on certain days up, cleanliness ok, breakfast buffet very minimalist, only simple rolls, no muesli, no milk, no yoghurt or quark, no cornflakes, so we'll never be back

Excellent food, relatively inconspicuous from the outside, seating in the beer garden. Great price-performance ratio. Wonderful alternative to other localities in Wernigerode. Gladly again...

Short call because we wanted to eat with 7 people. Despite the full reservation, it was made possible. Very flexible and nice. Service friendly. We were also set to wait. (only one cook and everything is freshly made). At the In the end it was really quick and it tasted good too. 👍

A great place to stay for spontaneous visits to the Harz Mountains for a short period of time, as the rooms are quite small and therefore do not offer many opportunities to stay. Otherwise, the operators were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast we booked was also great. There was a small buffet where you could help yourself. Various types of sausage and cheese, as well as eggs at the weekend, were available. There was as much orange juice and coffee as one wanted to drink and otherwise our request for milk was fulfilled with a full pot every morning. In the evening in the restaurant there was a clear menu with around 10 dishes, all of which were very tasty and plentiful. As expected, the inn pursues home-style cooking. The farm is perfectly located for ambitious hikers on some very good forest trails, with which even the Brocken is within reach.
